Therapy Philosophy and Treatment Goals

I believe people possess the internal resources to be happier, manage stress better, and feel more satisfied in relationships. I will work with you to tap into your inner wisdom. Together we'll set goals, track your progress, and make adjustments as we move forward. If we encounter a problem area that you are not equipped for, I'll use cognitive behavioral strategies to teach you new skills. If you are blocked by a traumatic event, I can offer you innovative therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) to remove internal obstacles. As your therapist, my goal will be to provide you relief from the troubles that brought you into therapy. I have helped people feel calmer, work more competently, and play and love more harmoniously.

I specialize in: Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Call me for a free phone consultation and let's decide if we're a good match.
